About the Job
Your Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out cost engineering and cost value analyses.
- Cooperation in interdisciplinary and international teams.
- Evaluation, calculation, and validation of the purchase costs of purchased parts including the resources required for production.
- Development, identification, and implementation of cost reduction measures with a focus on the technologies according to commodity allocation.
- Participation in target pricing during the project and development phase.
- Supporting buyers in cost negotiations with suppliers.
- Support for decision-making and awarding processes in purchasing.
- Conducting benchmark analyses.
- Professional planning, preparation, and implementation of cost workshops with our suppliers.
- Develop know-how and further develop calculation tools.
Your Qualifications
- BS degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related curriculum.
- Experienced in world class manufacturing, engineering, and/or project management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Communicative, confident demeanor in coordination and negotiation discussions, good analytical skills, initiative, commitment, and assertiveness.
- Ability to deal with conflict, business dealings and the ability to work in a team.
- High willingness to learn to expand knowledge.
- Familiarity with concurrent engineering and understanding of supply chain management.
- High knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and use of office equipment.
