We're Hiring: Purchasing & Invoicing Specialist

Location: Maricopa, AZ 85239

Pay Rate: $20.30 - 27.10/hr. Based on experience

About the Role

As the Purchasing & Invoicing Specialist at the Arizona Proving Grounds, you will play a key role in supporting purchasing, accounts payable, and vendor management, ensuring streamlined processes for the team. Reporting to the Business Operations Specialist and working closely with the US Testing Finance Controller, this role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in business operations.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing (60%): Manage purchase orders, verify compliance, maintain supplier lists, handle capital purchases, and serve as the primary point of contact for procurement-related inquiries.

• Accounts Payable (40%): Process invoices, track payments, resolve vendor issues, and organize financial records.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in a business-related role, preferably in finance.

• Education: Associate’s degree in a business discipline, or equivalent experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.

• Skills:

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access)

• Detail-oriented with organizational skills

• Knowledge of business principles

• Automotive industry experience and basic German are a bonus!

Schedule & Flexibility

• Core hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed.

• Must pass a drug screen and be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Pay Details: $20.30 to $27.10 per hour
