PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Procure to Pay Specialist will be responsible forpurchasing order issuance, delivery, and payment in support of the needs of theAsphalt business. This role will ensure on-time payment to suppliers throughflawless alignment and execution of the purchase order and goods receivedprocess across the network. This role will establish and preserve excellentprofessional communications and business relationships with internal andexternal stakeholders to drive and maintain accurate and efficient processesthroughout the procure-to-pay cycle.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
MATERIAL BUYING:
Lead and manage execution of the purchase order and goodsreceived process across the network, driving alignment with key stakeholders
Create and maintain accurate master data in SAP includingmaterial master, vendor master, and info records etc.
Act as a liaison between production planning, operations,and external suppliers in managing the supply of raw materials
Function as the lead and focal point for new origins,destinations, and transloading locations setup and execution
Timely communication of supplier issues, problems and/oropportunities to the appropriate commodity leader or other key stakeholder
Monitor the Good Receipts Not Invoiced (GRNI) and invoicekickout reports to ensure suppliers are paid promptly and lead root causeanalysis with suppliers, plants, and Shared Services to avoid futurerecurrences
Conduct regular supplier audits to identify, address, andprevent problems in ordering, payment, or other processes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business,or a related field preferred
1-3 year of experience with SAP in a buyer/planner/materialscheduler role
Demonstrated understanding of the principles of supplychain management
Previous experience utilizing order fulfillment andnetwork optimization software programs (i.e., SAP, Excel, Power BI)
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:
Demonstrates a customer-centric mindset whether workingwith internal or external stakeholders
Possesses strong critical thinking, analytical, andproblem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Can operate effectively in a fast paced, day to dayoperations work environment
Strong administrative skills and task oriented
