What Youll Do:
- Point person for Glass Department facility maintenance.
- Immediately respond to all off-schedule and emergency related down time issues. Any downtime longer than 30 minutes contact both the Plant Supervisor via telephone and notify the Operations Manager via email.
- Reducing downtime is top priority. Coordinate with management, or planning, as needed.
- Organize and schedule maintenance related tasks, including repairs, preventative maintenance, third party services, reporting, and communication.
- Communicate with all internal stakeholders to ensure everyone understands and adheres to maintenance schedules and best practices.
- Provide general support and maintenance related training when necessary to Team Leads and Operators.
- Manage maintenance schedule according to ISO9001 quality management system guidelines, keeping records well organized and controlled.
- Monitor, analyse, and adhere to corporate KPIs involving Downtime, Spare Part Consumption, Cost Control, Safety, and Environment.
- Ensure all relevant documents are maintained and current, both physically and on the drive.
- Focus on cost reduction and possible savings (by process improvement or better preventative maintenance).
- Purchasing spare parts by negotiating good price (minimum 2 suppliers on each product).
- Create POs in Business Central related to spare parts.
- Follow up with suppliers on timely delivery of the PO.
- Conduct quarterly performance ratings of suppliers (quality, delivery time, pricing).
- Monitor that the employees follow the procedure and instruction as written up by ISO and report to management.
- Work closely together with production.
- Maintenance the maintenance area on the production floor by organizing and cleaning.
- Serve as a back up for inventory parts.
- Develop and execute maintenance plan (acute and preventative).
- Analyse breakdown and repairs to create the right preventative maintenance plan.
- Strong administrative record keeping, time management, and root cause analysis.
- Be supportive and collaborate with other team members across the organization with a team-oriented approach.
- If applicable, train other team member(s) across the organization as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training requirements.
- Comply with all company policies according to employee handbook during onboarding.
- Performs other duties, as required.
- Special projects, as requested.
