Python Data Analyst

Location: Wilmington, DE (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Candidate Preference: Local to Wilmington, DE or nearby areas.

Work Authorization: W2 only

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Data Analysis: At least 5 years of experience working in a techno/functional role as a Data Analyst.
• Python & Cloud: 2+ years of experience using Python for data extraction and working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS S3.
• Data Skills: Proficient in data validation, data mapping, and understanding data models.
• Tools: Experience with Jira for project tracking and Excel for data analysis.
• Table Extraction: Ability to extract data from various sources and formats.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Big Data: Experience with Spark or other data processing frameworks.
• Data Extraction: Familiarity with additional data extraction tools.
• Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of Risk and Fraud data models.

Responsibilities:

• Extract data from various sources using Python and AWS S3.
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Utilize Jira for task tracking and project management.
• Create and maintain data models and mappings.
• Perform table extractions and transformations as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide insights.
