Python Developer at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking Python Developer for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX/Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid). The role involves writing reusable code and serving as a subject matter expert, supporting other developers in enhancing the core platform.

 

Rate Range: $58/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Python, SQL - Design/Programming job responsibilities include:

• Designing and building horizontally scalable components within the platform, ensuring high performance and stability.

• Reviewing and providing code feedback to team members, focusing on best practices and optimization techniques.

• Becoming a subject matter expert on the deployed code, offering support and guidance to other developers.

• Writing reusable and extendable code to contribute significantly to the core platform.

• Continuously working to simplify software processes and improve overall code quality.

• Building distributed and scalable services, as well as robust microservices, to enhance system capabilities.

• Writing unit tests using frameworks like pytest or unittest to ensure code reliability and maintainability.

• Collaborating with the team on CI/CD pipelines and automation practices to streamline development workflows.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in software design and programming, with a strong focus on Python and SQL.

• Expertise in functional and object-oriented programming, particularly in Python.

• Experience with various database technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $68.00 per hour
