Responsibilities and Tasks:
In this role you will be responsible for working on the development of Tools and a Test Framework that would be deployed across the entire FW Test organization. Working closely with multiple FW Test development teams and the formal corporate tools infrastructure teams (HW & SW) to deploy, roll out, customize and enhance the tools and automation systems used for FW test.
The framework in which these teams operate is Agile in nature, with high degrees of automation. In addition the tools need to support the ability for the diverse and geographically distributed teams to work efficiently together.
Additionally work may involve automating installation, and deployment of off the shelf tools and as well as their subsequent enhancement with an eye towards increasing their efficiency, effectiveness and capability of these tools.

The role is including, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Work with the Technical lead for the Architecture group to develop an Automated Test Framework for deployment to all of the Firmware Test Groups worldwide in Micron.
- Work with all of the Firmware Test groups to assist their automation of: Test execution (regression testing and continuous integration), Report generation, Reproduction of failures, Test tools deployment into the labs, Usage of VMs instead of single PCs where possible etc.
- Work with the Test Architecture Manager and Lead to evaluate/create, deploy and maintain tools for: Requirements management, Test Plans management, Test Coverage, Code Coverage, User Scenarios Record & Replay, Test to JIRA connection , Static Code Analyzer, Code Review
Experience: - Proven experience with Python, C++, C languages
- Experience with client /server applications and their implementation.
- Experience of the storage industry, in SSD, HDD, storage systems or a related technology
- Experience of commercial firmware development tools, with a focus on Agile
- Experience with multiple operating systems, including both Linux and Windows
- Experience with script based automation
- Experience with scripting and automating the use of Microsoft office applications
- BSEE or equivalent required
