Python Developer - Aloden LLC

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Candidate Preference: Local candidates or those willing to relocate to Plano, TX

Work Authorization: W2 Candidates only

Must-Have Skills:

• Python Development: Strong proficiency in Python
• SQL: Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases/data warehouses
• Data Analysis: Proficient in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data findings in reports/dashboards
• Data Modeling and Integration: Good understanding of data modeling and data integration/analysis techniques

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Jenkins: Some experience with Jenkins for CI/CD
• Tableau: Experience with Tableau for data visualization

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using Python.
• Work with data throughout its lifecycle, from concept to implementation (5+ years of experience preferred).
• Utilize strong SQL skills for data analysis and interaction with relational databases/data warehouses.
• Employ version control systems like Git/BitBucket.
• Adhere to modern engineering practices: Unit Test-Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), and Continuous Integration (CI).
• Thrive in an Agile development environment.
• Ideally, possess experience in data modeling, data integration/analysis tools, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
• Comfortable working in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment, with the ability to lead and drive initiatives to completion.
