Quality Audit Specialist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop expert understanding and enforce the requirements of the SEH-A Quality Management System.
• Perform controlled process audits for all SEHA business units. Work with business units to drive system improvement and validate effectiveness.
• Evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements.
• Assist in development of audit plans and audit schedules.
• Participate in quality audits (and lead a team of quality auditors, when needed)
• Follow-up with action item closure. Escalate as needed to get the audits completed on schedule.
• Develop KPI’s to assess the effectiveness of the internal audit system.
• Ensure that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.
• May conduct vendor evaluation audits to determine qualifications.
• Some domestic and international travel is required in order to maintain required certifications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have an eye for details and have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Concrete knowledge of department and company processes, measurements, and quality systems.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work multiple projects concurrently with a wide variety of departments and individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Have solid experience with auditing tools (e.g., control charts, Ishikawa diagrams).
• Experience with statistical analysis methods, including SPC.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work with multiple managerial levels within the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work multiple projects concurrently with a wide variety of personalities.
• Able to demonstrate a high degree of technical and project management skills.
• Experience working in a production environment is a must.
• Must be able to obtain passport and travel domestic and international.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
• Semiconductor or related large plant/ high tech environment experience ideal.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field is strongly desired.
• Experience working in a production environment is highly desired.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute complex instructions and procedures. Must be able to work in a clean room environment wearing clean room suite, hood, booties, safety glasses and gloves. May require the use of hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel objects, tools and controls. Kneeling, bending and crouching positions, as well as the lifting may be required. Occasionally lifts up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods of time. Frequent sitting for long intervals. Close vision (<2 feet) required. Hazardous chemicals or vapors may be present in work area depending on assignment. Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels. A high degree of safety consciousness is required for all positions at SEH America. Occasional international travel may be required. Must be able to obtain passport and travel to required destinations. Standard work schedule is Monday – Friday days. Night and weekend work may be required depending on project assignment.
