QA Auditor – Owensboro, KY - Relocation Assistance

We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Auditor to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality. This role involves conducting detailed audits across various locations to ensure compliance with USDA/FDA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit plants, suppliers, copackers, and warehouses for compliance with corporate quality management policies and SOPs.
• Schedule, prepare for, and conduct audits, including those required by GFSI, customers, and corporate standards.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, including HACCP and FSMA.
• Work closely with teams to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in managing customer food safety-related complaints.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in a food industry QA role, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory position.
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• HACCP and PCQI certification, with experience in GFSI auditing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Compensation:

• $75k-$85k annually, based on experience.
• Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
