About the Job
Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance consultant with experience in performing tests on Cable TV Set Top Boxes. You will work with an experienced team of professionals in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Test middleware/application for set top boxes and digital TVs.
Develop/write automation scripts to match technical requirement
Developing test tools and utilities in Perl, Python, etc.
Collaborate with product owner to identify product and technical requirements and come up with appropriate automation design/framework
Work in an Agile environment and meet the specific goal for each iteration. Communicate any blockers upfront and mitigate challenges/risks.
Work/coordinate with QA team, assign appropriate tasks for them and make sure that the team is moving towards achieving the goal.
Requirements
5+ years experience in testing middleware/application for set top boxes and digital TVs.
Ability to develop/write automation script to match technical requirement
Experience developing test tools and utilities in Perl, Python, etc.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
