Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: NY/NY or Pittsburg PA
Position type: 24 months- Contract
Rate: Market/DOE
Summary of job functions:
• Create written Test Scripts from Business Partner Acceptance Criteria
• Create, execute, and maintain Functional Tests
• Create, execute, and maintain Automated Tests
• Perform ADHOC automated and manual Regression Testing
• Document issues found ensuring all steps to reproduce are identified
• Execute retesting of Remediated Issues
• Monitor work in progress (i.e. test script execution, test script automation, etc…)
Abilities required:
• Knowledge - Project management practices to assist with organization of work
• Knowledge - Use of MS suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Teamwork - Able to team with all levels working remotely across multiple time zones
• Communication - The ability to interact and effectively communicate in technical and non-technical terms with QA members and developers to understand test requirements and acceptance criteria.
Skills required:
• Minimum 7 Years' Experience Application Testing/Scripting
• Familiar with SOAP UI or other web service testing application
• Proficient - English verbal and written communication
Skill/Proficient - Be skilled and proficient in the theoretical and practical application of specialized knowledge related to computer systems, analysis, programming and software engineering while working independently and without close supervision.
