Responsibilities:
- Build and execute test cases to verify that Comcast's applications for TV Streaming devices (Roku, Samsung) meet requirements and customer needs
- Analyze market and customer usage patterns to recommend devices that will ensure maximum coverage during testing
- Collaborate with the development team while features are being built to become more familiar with what is being implemented and how, as well as review use cases together
- Investigate new tools and technologies make testing efforts faster and more effective
- Analyze and help triage defects raised by customers, both internal and external
- Attributes for Success:
- One plus years of experience working with streaming TV applications (e.g. Roku, Samsung TV, Apple TV, Android TV)
- Ability to capture and analyze device and web service logs
- Effective bug reporting including prioritization, steps to reproduce, and repeatability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Multi-tasking – need to be able to handle multiple ongoing releases across more than one platform at any given time
- Experience with iOS and Android mobile application testing is a plus
