QA Inspector 2nd Shift at Micro Tech

About the Job
Responsibilities:
• Perform all variable and attribute inspections and first piece inspection as well as all applicable test procedures for all products
• Interpret basic blueprint dimensions/notes specific to the parts being inspected
• Package, weigh and label product and record amounts accepted and rejected
• Perform measurements properly using stationary measuring equipment (optical comparators, air-gauging, etc), luer gages, go/no go pins, digital calipers, tensile tester and other equipment.
• Properly Care for measuring and test equipment
• Determine acceptability of product utilizing workmanship standards and related procedures
• Disposition product as approved or rejected.
• Sort and rework as needed
• Document all inspection findings in Microsoft Word and/or Excel
• Perform all functional testing as required
• Interpret basic X and R charts used to plot and track product data, record results and document adjustments, comments.
• Cross training and willingness to work in other areas as needed
• Performs all other duties as assigned
Experience:
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math skills
• Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
• Ability to work with others in a team environment
• Prior QA experience preferred
