Position: Quality Assurance Plant Monitor/Truck Sampler-De-linter
Location: Bapchule, AZ
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $22/hour

Overview:

Join our Quality Control team as a Quality Assurance Plant Monitor/Truck Sampler-De-linter. This role involves monitoring and testing cottonseed to ensure adherence to quality standards in both raw and processed forms. You will perform a variety of quality checks, including:

• Truck Sampling and Sample De-Linting
• Acid Percentage and Dryer Temperature Measurement
• Buffer Temperature and Bushel Weights
• pH Testing and Cleanout Percentages
• Seed Count, Tare Analysis, and Seed Appearance
• Bag Analysis and Calibration of Scales
• Down Time Coding

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections on packaged finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Assist with variety cleanouts.
• Enter data accurately into the Plant Monitoring Spreadsheet.
• Report any deviations from quality parameters promptly.
• Perform repetitive tests for extended periods, adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
• Work collaboratively with other team members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety protocols and practices.

Work Environment:

• Stand and walk for extended periods in industrial and warehouse settings.
• Handle industrial equipment such as Delinter, Dryer, Buffer, Cleaner, Gravity Tables, Seed Tanks, Shakers, Conveyors, Baggers, Scales, Palletizer, Wrapper, Forklifts, Trucks, and Loading Ramp.
• Utilize lab equipment including Temperature Probe, pH Meter, Beakers, Distilled Water, Buffers, Scales, Bushel Weight Apparatus, and Seed Counter.
• Work primarily in an industrial/warehouse or laboratory environment.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, coveralls, gloves, safety boots, N95 mask, and hardhat, is required and provided.

Additional Information:

• Cross-training with QA Cottonseed Technician laboratory duties as needed.
