QA/QC Specialist - Marcum Search

CBIZ is assisting our Syosset, NY client in their search for a QA/QC Specialist to ensure quality and safety standards across all manufacturing processes. The role includes document verification, facility audits, and team collaboration to enhance safety and quality assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier approval to ensure compliance with QA/QC policies.
• Plan and execute projects while maintaining safety and regulatory requirements.
• Support product development and define safety compliance indicators.
• Work with departments on product roll-out and compliance.
• Resolve technical safety issues and handle feedback during production.
• Document audit reports and follow up to mitigate risks.
• Develop strategies to reduce risks associated with products.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills Required

• 3-5 years of experience in food production and processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and relevant certifications.
• Auditing/consulting experience.
• Experience with regulatory bodies such as FDA and USDA.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.

Estimated Salary range is between $75-$85K.
