Position Overview: As a Quality Assurance Specialist I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for managing raw materials, intermediates, packaging, and labeling materials, and ensuring that final products comply with customer and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure products meet or exceed customer and regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to maintain a compliant quality management system.
- Maintain vendor files and review batch records and other relevant documents.
- Release and reject materials as necessary, ensuring adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Collect and organize Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) from vendors.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain necessary documentation for incoming materials.
- Generate CoAs, BSE/TSE statements, and other documents for final products.
- Assist in managing eQMS and maintaining quality records and production documentation.
- Support the qualification and approval of prospective vendors.
- Assist in drafting and updating QMS documentation.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and GMP.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with information management systems.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift at least 25 pounds.
