Description:
B2B staffing is looking for a qualified Automation Engineer
Automation Engineeris responsible for evaluating and understanding automated testing needs for new web-based features and user stories. This person will create and execute test plans and automated test that comply with the team’s standards and best practices and assist in the maintenance of software changes across the production and test environments according to department SDLC procedures.
Testing Scope:
The Automation Engineer will perform the following testing phases as required with projects: functional testing, integration testing, accessibility testing, performance testing and assisting with user acceptance testing as required.
Skills:
Agile Experience:
This person will be coming from a strong background working in an Agile environment and participating in scrum meetings.
Must Haves:
-5 + years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer in a web-based environment
-Knowledge of at least 1 major JavaScript Framework, preferably, Jest, React, or Node.js
-Experience in automated test analysis, planning, development, and execution
-Experience using TestRails test case management tool
-2+ years of experience in an Agile environment and participating in scrum meetings
Pluses:
-Experience working in either Test driven Development (TDD) or Behavioral driven Development (BDD) environments
-Experience with automated testing using Cucumber
-Experience using Confluence for documentation purposes
-Experience integrating TestRail test cases with Jira, managing, tracking, and coordinating software testing
-Experience with web application development, mobile technology, and healthcare is preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration preferred
