QA Tester - ConsultNet

The QA Tester will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our real-time payments platform. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to identify and address defects, ensuring the platform meets stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases and scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct manual testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and system testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand system architecture and design.
• Identify, document, and track defects using a defect tracking system.
• Analyze test results and report on test coverage and quality metrics.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and techniques.
• Experience working with Java-based applications.
• At least 2 years of experience with Client's Enterprise Payment Platform.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of payment industry standards and regulations.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
