Qatar Deputy Country Director - SAF/IA - ANSER

Specific Job Description:

ANSER is seeking a Deputy Country Director to support our work with Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs (SAF/IA). In this key role you will analyze existing US military and Saudi defense and capability requirements, identify/assess alternative sustainment and enhancement strategies, provide recommendations, and assist in defining requirements for future programs. This position requires 25-33% international travel.

Job description:

· Provide expertise in the logistics management of RSAF procured systems, supporting infrastructure and facilities.

· Provide expertise in munitions capabilities and employment associated with the Partner Nation’s weapons systems

· Ensure up to date information in the SAF/IA partner capabilities database for assigned programs, countries or regions

· Develop a key essential personnel contact list with names and contact information for US inter agency and Qatari Air Force personnel involved in aviation FMS case development and execution

Required Qualifications:

· Secret clearance

· Bachelor’s Degree.

· Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience with demonstrated effectiveness in: USAF LOA development and execution or experience as SAF/IA Country Desk Officer working on USAF programs. Will consider 5 years’ experience with Master’s degree.

· Familiarity with USAF F-15 or other USAF fighter and weapons operations, exercises, and training

· Experience implementing DoD acquisition policies, laws, regulations, and guidance required to implement FMS LOAs

· US DoD staff experience in a military, USG civilian or contractor capacity

· Knowledge and general understanding of USAF roles and missions

· Knowledge and general understanding of security cooperation, international affairs security assistance, foreign military sales to include the processes, legislation and players.

Desired qualifications:

· A Master’s Degree in an International Affairs curriculum
