A growing machine shop in the League City area is seeking a QC Admin on a direct hire basis. This position will be supporting a QC/QA team of about 6-8 employees in a variety of functions around documentation, calibration logs, and developing client packets for precision machined parts. Ideal candidate will have previous experience in a machining or metal fabricating environment, and supporting Quality Control/Assurance functions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create Inspection Report Template for new parts, maintain existing inspection report templates
- Create and maintain all internal & external approvals for process
- Track, upload, and manage all Incoming Material Test Reports (MTR’s)
- Scan OSS Certs into Jobs Folder
- Maintain measurement tool calibration schedule and certifications
- Final Documentation Packets - ensure all required documentation is included in both client packets (ex: inspection reports, pictures, heat-treating certifications, etc.)
- Support QC and QA managers and Dimensional QC Inspectors in any other administrative functions as needed or required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED combined with experience and training, as deemed acceptable by hiring Manager
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Minimum 3 years' experience with MRP software - JobBOSS experience highly preferred, but no required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Expected hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm, with some Saturday hours as needed or required
- Position is an office based role, but may require the individual to be in the machine shop when gathering needed information and/or to support the QC/QA team with documentation functions
