Conducts analyses on routine & non-routine samples. Train new laboratory personnel. Assists Lab supervisor & QC Specialist with laboratory project.Responsibilities:· Calibration Program for designated laboratory equipment· Routine and non-routine maintenance program for designated laboratory equipment· Analysis of routine and non-routine samples as needed· Training of laboratory personnel· Order supplies for the laboratory· Provides assistance to Lab Supervisor and QC Specialist on special projects· Some off hour, weekend, and overtime coverage may be requiredMinimum Qualifications:· HS Degree or equivalent required + 3 years of laboratory experience OR· Associate degree plus 1 year of laboratory experience.Preferred Qualification· Hands-on experience with GC, Titration and polymer testing equipment.· Hands-on experience with procedures used to calibrate and standardize laboratory test equipment as well as the preparation of reagents, plus Statistical Process Control experience.· Ability to troubleshoot questionable test results.· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-energy environment· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; plus strong mechanical aptitude· Strong commitment to safety and quality· Ability to work 12 hours days (including weekends and holidays) and overtime.· Excellent oral and written communication skills· Ability to work without direct supervision.We offer a competitive compensation package that includes base pay and an annual incentive.
