Our Quality department is hiring a dynamic and organized professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance Coordinator This position is responsible for providing support to the Quality Assurance Department in initiatives to ensure overall program compliance, conducting audits, analyzing data, and collaboration with programs for enhancement opportunities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support the Quality Assurance Department with updating, upkeep, and implementation of program policy manuals, program management handbooks, and other associated documents.
- Support the Quality Assurance Department in internal and external investigations to review for quality assurance follow-up needs in collaboration with Human Resources.
- Support the Quality Assurance Department with investigation tracking, including, but not limited to, 51A, subpoenas, and other mandated filing requirements.
- Support Quality Assurance and other Agency departments to ensure compliance with internal and external incident reporting, follow-up, and identification of trends amongst all incidents.
- Attend, participate in, and assist the Quality Assurance Department in program internal audits.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to program staff as needed and/or as identified by the Quality Assurance Department and/or other Agency personnel.
- Review Agency electronic health record systems to ensure consistent and standard usage.
- Support Quality Assurance and other Agency departments in the implementation of staff and program management growth, professional development, and training, as well as in the growth and development of new programs.
- Work collaboratively with the Human Resources Training Department regarding orientation and ongoing training, staff development, and certification compliance.
- Support the Quality Assurance Department in monthly, quarterly, or annually critical success factors for all Agency programs, including, but not limited to, annual surveys and other measurable benchmarks, as well as analysis of annual program-related surveys.
- Support Quality Assurance and other Agency departments in accreditations, licensing, and certification processes by DDS, DPH, Children’s Trust, EEC, CARF, and other program funding sources.
- Assist in ensuring follow-up on program-related internal audit findings.
- Attend required program trainings and meetings. Provide reports and status updates as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with Agency divisions to meet goals established within the strategic plan, including identified program goals.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or two years’ experience in healthcare/human services is preferred.
- Understanding and knowledge of regulatory requirements preferred and/or the ability to attain an understanding and knowledge of applicable regulations.
- Must possess the ability to assist with Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Early Education and Care (EEC), and Department of Public Health (DPH) accreditation in designated programs.
- Ability to collaborate with other division/department personnel to ensure commitment to the Agency’s mission statement, vision, and values.
- Must demonstrate self-motivation and professional accountability.
- Must be an effective communicator.
- Competent in MS Office.
