As part of the Alexa Shopping team, you will revolutionize the customer experience by designing, architecting, and implementing groundbreaking voice-forward shopping experiences used by millions worldwide. In this role, you will ensure exceptional quality for new Alexa shopping features and develop scalable testing frameworks empowering teams across the organization. You will acquire highly sought-after skills in voice interface development, API testing, and more, propelling your career growth at Amazon and beyond. Collaborating closely with Product Management, Development, and Design teams, you will craft exceptional Alexa shopping experiences for customers.

Quality Assurance Engineers are the owner of the features' quality. They work with product, development and other teams to deliver high quality product to Amazon's customers.
About the team
Our team builds testing and development frameworks to enable engineers across the organization to build and test shopping experiences in Alexa. You will be joining a team of QAEs and SDEs which mission is to enable teams to rapidly create and test new shopping features for our customers.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in API & Mobile testing
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
