POSITION SUMMARY:

We're seeking a thorough and hard-working Inspector who works well independently to join our team of professionals at Bluewater Vacation Homes.
As our Inspector, you'll be part of the backbone of our maintenance services, ensuring that our guests and homeowners have REMARKABLE EXPERIENCES during their stay.
What does this role involve?
To succeed, your time management, problem-solving abilities and professionalism will be crucial in maintaining our high standards. This position involves conducting thorough inspections, addressing maintenance issues, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Each day, you'll inspect our vacation properties before guests arrive and after they leave to ensure they're in top-tier shape, as well as to report any issues. You will also provide guests with instructions regarding a property or its amenities as needed and respond to any guest inquiries promptly and professionally.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Arrival and Departure Inspections:
- Conduct detailed inspections before guest arrival and post-guest stay.
- Ensure the property is clean, well-maintained, and meets the established quality standards.
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair issues requiring immediate attention.
- Uphold and enforce property cleanliness standards to exceed guest expectations.
2. Inventory Management:
- Verify the presence and functionality of all essential amenities, furnishings, and appliances.
- Report any missing or damaged items and coordinate replacements as necessary.
3. Document and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of property inspections, noting any discrepancies or concerns.
- Provide detailed reports to property managers, including photographic evidence of property conditions.
4. Guest Interaction:
- Communicate with guests regarding property features, amenities, and any specific instructions for their stay.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns related to property conditions promptly and professionally.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in vacation rental property inspection, vacation rentals, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills for interactions with guests and other team members.
- Basic technology skills - all inspections are completed via smartphone.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly Rate: $20-$25 per hour based on experience and achievement
