Quality Assurance Manager - Food Ingredients at Gables Search Group

Job Overview: Join our site leadership team as a Quality Assurance Manager, where you'll ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of food products. You’ll lead initiatives for food safety programs (SQF, FSMA, HACCP), drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of excellence across departments. This on-site role includes relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (local, state, federal)
• Lead audits and customer inspections
• Oversee quality systems, GMPs, HACCP, SOPs, and more
• Collaborate with R&D and Production for new product launches
• Develop and train teams for quality awareness and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• B.S./B.A. in Food Science or related field
• 5+ years in QA leadership within food or supplements industry
• Knowledge of SQF, FDA, HACCP; PCQI certified a plus
• Experience in powder/dry ingredients preferred
