Quality Assurance Specialist
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our SAS team!
As our Quality Assurance Specialist, you will perform certification and data package compilation and review prior to shipment. You will review inspection/test failure and rejection reports to identify project failure trends and provide recommendation for corrective action. You’ll review dispositions for quality nonconformances to ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve, perform system and process audits. You will perform analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. You will also be responsible for effectively planning and coordinating testing activities and ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.

Your Challenge
+ Reviews dispositions for quality nonconformances to ensure appropriate actions are taken to resolve
+ Performs certification and data package compilation and review prior to shipment
+ Is a leader in continuous improvement
+ Participates in internal audits and in-process work surveillances, including developing plans, conducting audits, and documenting findings in formal reports
+ Development of inspection plans to ensure material quality requirements are met
What You Bring
+ Must be a sole US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
+ High school or equivalent.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience reviewing/inspecting material and material documentation for quality purposes
+ Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.
+ Experience with Navy, ISO 9001, NQA-1, or 10 CFR 50 compliant quality programs preferred.
+ ISO 9001 or NQA-1 Certified Lead Auditor preferred.
+ Ability to understand statistical inference preferred.
+ Good presentation skills preferred.
+ Background in manufacturing work.
