Adecco Staffing is working with one of the America’s few remaining, family owned smokehouses to fill a QA Technician position on 1st shift! This is a temp-hire position.
Position:
QA Technician $18.00/hour
Hours:
1st Shift: Monday through Friday (some Saturdays if needed) 7:00am – 5:30pm
Job Overview:
This position requires the ability to multitask, be self-motivated, and become an integral part of the facility’s daily operations and quality programs. All in compliance with the standards of wholesomeness, hygiene, health & safety at work.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Prior Quality or Production experience
- Good computer skills
- Conduct production room inspections to insure all policies and procedures are being followed
- Conduct GMP inspections
- Conduct production specific task verifications (can change at discretion of QA Manager)
- Immediately communicate with QA Manager and QA Analyst anything which can result in unsafe or poorquality product, and will need to be placed on hold
- Assist in Sanitary Control of the facility if needed Stocking or trash runs/gowning room upkeep
- ????Communicate via teams, email, and radio as needed
- Radio response within 2 attempts of any QA being called
- Conduct QA and GMP checklists in each production room
- Communicate any observations immediately to the Sr, QA technician, QA Manager that could result in any unsafe or poor quality products
- Monitor Safefoods360 for accuracy and completeness from all departments as directed
- Communicate with production employees as observations are detected
- Properly document all findings and follow up actions to findings
- Assist in metal detection activities
- Assisting production as needed
- Conduct self-assessments
