What You’ll Do:
As a Quality Assurance Technician / Inspector, you will play a key role in maintaining product quality throughout the manufacturing process. You’ll be responsible for:
- Product Inspection & Testing: Conduct in-process inspections and measurements on both raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records, including first run samples, family colors, and pouching/converting retain samples.
- Rework Oversight: Inspect and audit reworked or resorted materials and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce food safety and quality assurance procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with leadership to address quality issues and contribute to ongoing process improvement.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain inspection, measurement, and testing equipment, ensuring that all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning.

- Problem Solver: Ability to identify issues and implement solutions to improve processes.
- Organized: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to meet quality goals.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds. You should also be able to stoop, kneel, and climb ladders as part of your duties.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience: Prior experience in quality assurance or production inspection is a plus, especially in flexible packaging or printing industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic software tools (Microsoft Word, Excel) and ability to quickly learn new programs.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document work clearly and professionally.
- Color Perception: Excellent color vision (with or without corrective lenses) for inspecting printed materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus.
Industry Experience: Experience with testing methods (destructive, in-process, controlled) and knowledge of quality expectations in the flexible packaging or printing industry.
