SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician in Allen, TX. A successful Quality Control Technician should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines. - Perform precision measurements on machined piece parts while exercising an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T).
- Perform layout mechanical inspections from machine shops.
- Ability to use calibrated hand tools and ring and plug gages and other standard measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, height gages, surface plates, and other mechanical measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to read and interpret customer and internal drawings.
- Ability to identify and document nonconformance's, as required
- Demonstrated ability to use hand tools like calipers, micrometers, ring gages, plug gages, CMM, Keyence and other standard measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Solid understanding of technical and computer skills with the ability to navigate within the customer order database.
- Interface with engineering and manufacturing staff in resolving quality issues.
- HS diploma or equivalent (college degree, a plus)
- Experience with quality control techniques
- Experience with measuring SMIs (calipers, gauges, rulers, meters, height gages, and other measuring instruments).
- Minimum of 2 years of quality inspector experience
