Quality Control - SURESTAFF

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician  in Allen, TX.  A successful Quality Control Technician should have excellent troubleshooting skills, have experience inspecting product in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, and be able to ensure that product consistently meets quality standards and guidelines.    SURESTAFF is invested in their team members!  All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $24 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).  Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.   Available shifts include Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.  Responsibilities of the Quality Control Technician: 

• Perform precision measurements on machined piece parts while exercising an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T).
• Perform layout mechanical inspections from machine shops.
• Ability to use calibrated hand tools and ring and plug gages and other standard measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, height gages, surface plates, and other mechanical measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret customer and internal drawings.
• Ability to identify and document nonconformance's, as required
• Demonstrated ability to use hand tools like calipers, micrometers, ring gages, plug gages, CMM, Keyence and other standard measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Solid understanding of technical and computer skills with the ability to navigate within the customer order database.
• Interface with engineering and manufacturing staff in resolving quality issues.

 Required Qualifications of the Quality Control Technician: 

• HS diploma or equivalent (college degree, a plus)
• Experience with quality control techniques
• Experience with measuring SMIs (calipers, gauges, rulers, meters, height gages, and other measuring instruments).
• Minimum of 2 years of quality inspector experience
