About the Job
A Music & Arts Quality Control Associate is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and functionality for all refurbished musical instruments produced at and for the Music & Arts Repair Shop. This individual will be tasked with inspecting and testing instruments to identify any defects or issues that may affect the sound or performance of the instrument.
Key responsibilities include:
* Inspecting all components of musical instruments, including strings, wood, and hardware to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Testing the functionality and sound quality of each instrument to identify any defects or inconsistencies.
* Making minor adjustments to instruments as necessary to improve sound quality and playability.
* Documenting all quality control finding and providing feedback to production teams for continuous improvement.
* Collaborating with other departments, such as Repair shop managers or direct managers to address any quality issues and implement solutions.
* Assisting with inventory management and organization of instruments in the warehouse.

To join our band, you'll need the following experience:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in music and a deep understanding of musical instruments and their components. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as with a team are also essential qualities for the successful Quality Control associate. Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience needed.

Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.00/hr depending on location, background and experience.
