HQ Aero is currently recruiting for QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTORS in EVERETT, WA
Responsibilities:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will:
- Accomplish incoming preliminary inspections on aircraft/components in accordance with customer request cards or manufacturer's manuals.
- Ensure documentation of maintenance performed is as required by FAR's, Customers' Repair Station Manual and Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program ( CAMP ).
- Accomplish final buy-back of maintenance performed.
- Accomplish in-progress inspections including clearance-to-close, torque verifications, dimensional checks, rigs, etc.
- As authorized by the customer, perform return-to-service and airworthiness releases on serviceable tags, aircraft logbooks, and FAA form 337.
- Previous Commercial MRO experience - Highly skilled.
- Minimum of three (3) years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience on 737/767/Airbus/Next Gen.
- GEN FAM – 737, NextGen, A320 – required.
- F.A.A. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License - required.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Standard Tool Kit required.
- Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
- Contract
- Able to Interpret maintenance manuals, wiring prints, and engineering drawings.
- High level of professionalism and attention to details. Able to take direction and fit in with the team.
- Good documentation skills for work performed and turnovers.
- Work with little or no direction.
- Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Good vision and depth perception.
- Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
