Quality Control Inspector (GMP) - Zachary Piper LLC

Piper Companies is actively searching for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join a biopharmaceutical gene therapy company focused on the development of life-changing gene therapies for conditions all across the world. The opportunity is onsite at their large-scale GMP gene therapy manufacturing facility in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. The QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, sampling and releasing raw materials for the GMP facility. Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector:

·      Create incoming material specifications as necessary

·      Perform incoming material inspections and complete raw material sampling

·      Coordinate sample shipments and assist with schedule for sampling & release of materials

·      Ensure compliance with applicable cGMP regulations, SOPs, and regulatory affairs

Qualifications of the Quality Control Inspector:

·      Minimum BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, or related field 

·      1+ years of experience in a cGMP, QC, or a similar laboratory environment is preferred

·      Strong good documentation practices 

·      Strong organization and communication skills required

Compensation for the Quality Control Inspector:

·      Salary: $25/hr - $27/hr based on experience
