QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR - RJ Staffing

About the Job
Medical device manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector. Hours are 1st shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm and 2nd shift: Monday - Thursday 4:45pm - 2:45am and Friday 2:15pm - 10:15pm. This position is eligible for RJ-Staffing bonus pay while temp, and if hired permanently, company offers health, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement.
Responsibilities:
-Cleanroom inspections
-Ensure instructions follow company policy and customer specifications
-Quality Control Inspection of products according to applicable Company instructions
-Completion of quality control documentation as defined by Company instructions
-Immediate reporting of all non-conformances observed as well as any compromises to quality to Quality Assurance Management, including the creation and approval of Internal Reports and Dispositions as required
-Provide quality leadership to laminator team
-Verification and approval of product labeling as required by Company instructions
-Verification of Line Clearance activities as defined by applicable instructions
-Sampling according to the Company sampling plans and instructions
-Conduct process verification activities throughout the production line (from lamination through retail box packaging) as defined by Company documentation
-Inform Laminator Operator and/or Supervisor of observed process deficiencies and product defects or abnormalities
-Report on the quality performance as required by management
-Verify and approve the in-line print, label, or sticker as instructed in the Test Specification
-Utilize IQS system to confirm appropriate documentation and initiate changes of documents through the system as necessary
-Utilize Epicor system as required for inventory management of products and materials
-Perform sample inspection for the validation of new customers or R&D products, including machine tooling validation as assigned by Supervisor or Manager
-Assist in cleaning of the production area and equipment as assigned by the Supervisor
-Verify job material requirements brought into the clean room.
-Perform additional duties as assigned by your Supervisor or ManagerQualifications:
-3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a quality role
-Ability to properly use standard inspection equipment (calipers, thickness gage, and other gages, etc.)
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Technical degree is a plus
-Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and apply the information contained on technical documentation, procedures, drawings, and understand basic geometric tolerances
-Basic computer skills using Word and ExcelQualifications:
-3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a quality role
-Ability to properly use standard inspection equipment (calipers, thickness gage, and other gages, etc.)
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Technical degree is a plus
-Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and apply the information contained on technical documentation, procedures, drawings, and understand basic geometric tolerances
