Olsten Staffing is assisting a client in Myrtle Beach, SC to find a Quality Control Lab Technician to join their team! This candidate will conduct and analyze samples from production to ensure customer specifications are met! Apply now if you meet the qualifications below!
Responsibilities for this job include:
+ Prepare and analyze lab blends for color match requests.
+ Perform all required testing on incoming finished goods material and maintaining retain samples.
+ Document, analyze and interpret test results.
+ Serve as back-up for preparing pigments for upcoming batches.
+ Perform basic laboratory maintenance including, but not limited to, stocking lab supplies, maintaining test equipment and maintaining a clean work area.
+ Other duties as assigned by Quality Manager.
+ Follow basic lab safety guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications for this job include:
+ Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
+ Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a cross-functional team
+ Capable of working in a high-paced environment
+ Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) and ERP System (SAP) software
+ Previous color matching experience a plus
+ Minimum 2 years of quality control or laboratory work preferred
+ Minimum Associate's degree is science field preferred
This is a full-time position and will be Monday-Friday 6:00am-4:30pm with pay starting at $15.50/hr.

Pay Details: $15.50 per hour
