Quality Control Line Inspector needed in Moorpark (in-office)
Respected manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Line Inspector for a permanent, long-term role.
Pay range is $22 - $24.50/hour
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 1st shift
As part of the quality team, the Line Inspector performs independent functions to verify products conform to specifications, monitors processes, provides support to Operations and quality policies, procedures and programs.
Job Duties:
- Perform inspections and monitor in-process goods including final product inspection.
- Monitor line clearance and set-up.
- Verify equipment cleaning per Standard Operating Procedures.
- Issue and apply release stickers on approved finished goods and document necessary information.
- Manage finished goods retains and submission of samples to customer.
- Prepare and submit samples to a 3rd party laboratory and follow-up on results.
- Communicate any discrepancies and OOS's with Director of Quality, assist and/or issue OOS investigations, deviations and issue non-conformance material reports (NCMR) per established SOP.
- Maintain records/documentation in accordance with internal procedures.
