Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician / Assembler to join our small machine shop team. This role involves performing quality control inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools, as well as documenting results to maintain high-quality standards. Additional responsibilities include assembly work, grinding, and sandblasting, ensuring that finished parts meet specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control Inspections: Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools to inspect parts, ensuring accuracy to specifications and quality standards.
• Documentation: Record measurements and inspection results, maintaining accurate records for quality control and compliance purposes.
• Assembly: Assemble parts and components according to shop standards and customer specifications.
• Grinding and Sandblasting: Perform grinding and sandblasting operations to prepare or finish parts, ensuring quality surface preparation.
• Safety and Maintenance: Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Experience with micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
• Experience with assembly, grinding, and sandblasting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to follow instructions.
• Team-oriented, with strong communication skills and reliability.
