JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Proficient in utilizing measuring tools such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
- Ensure the company operates with regulatory, customers and company procedures and instructions.
- Measure and Monitor the company’s quality performance.
- The Quality Control manager is involved, on a daily basis, with overseeing the QC Inspectors and the incoming, in process and final inspection of customer owned product to be plated.
- Collaborate with customers on corrective actions.
- Organizes and monitors workflow from production to shipping.
- Knowledge of our system and procedures and oversee the quality control department to ensure accuracy and products were completed properly before being shipped to the customer.
- Ensures area is clean and safe for all personnel.
- Reviews incoming purchase orders and drawings and compare to PCI’S job traveler for specification accuracy.
- Must be able to read blueprints and schematics to understand what is being inspected.
- Checks for any damage on the parts.
- Work closely with racker/inspectors and masking personnel on the line.
- Analyze quality control results and instruct staff in quality control and analytic procedures.
- Identifies the root cause of quality problems, and coordinates modifications or other corrective actions.
- Verify that raw materials, purchased parts or components, in-process samples, and finished products meet established testing and inspection standard.
- Final inspection will include various testing procedures to ensure the finish meets the customer requirement.
- Direct tracking all defects, test results or other regularly reported quality control data.
- Document testing procedures, methodologies and/or criteria.
- Verifies equipment and control points to ensure efficient workflow is maintained.
- Fosters cooperation and good communication within the team and other departments.
- Confer with managers and supervisors to define client requirements and expectations.
- Communicates expectations to staff.
- Verify and approval all leave requests within the department.
- Reports directly to the General Manager and will collaborate with other departments (Masking, Racking, Plating and Shipping…etc.) to endure that output is being maximized thru productivity and quality.
- May be required to perform other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be experienced with bore gauges, calipers and micrometers
- Must be able to read schematics and blueprints
- Must be able to read and comprehend instructions in English
- Bilingual English/Spanish – must be fluent in English in reading, writing and speaking.

EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1-2 years’ experience in quality control.

Hours: (subject to change)
- Mon – Thurs 7:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday 7:00am – 11:00am
- This is an in office salaried position, additional hours may be required.
Salary $75,000.00 annually
Please note that we are an ITAR Facility and Drug Testing is required for employment.
