testing, and packaging tasks to maintain the quality and integrity of cabinetry products. This role reports directly
to the Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor. Please be prepared for cross-training through the general
production line based on the needs of the company.
Inspection:
- Inspect cabinetry products for defects, including surface flaws, structural issues, and finish quality if damaged or requested by the reporting manager.
- Verify dimensions, alignment, and proper assembly according to specifications.
- Ensure that all components (e.g., doors, drawers, hinges) are functioning correctly.
- Perform touch-ups on products that can be reworked on the spot.
- Segregate non-conforming materials.
- Perform durability and functionality tests on cabinetry products.
- Check for consistency in color and finish across different pieces and batches.
- Conduct load and stress tests where applicable to ensure the structural integrity of cabinets.
Documentation:
- Report any issues to supervisors or the quality assurance team and suggest improvements.
- Track and record problem orders, trends in defects, etc.
- Report product that is beyond repair and needs to be re-produced.
Compliance:
- Ensure all products comply with company standards and relevant industry regulations.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for quality control.
Preparation:
- Prepare cabinets and components for packaging by cleaning and protecting surfaces.
- Assemble necessary packaging materials such as boxes, padding, and protective wraps.
Packaging:
- Package cabinetry products securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with product details, handling instructions, and shipping information.
Inventory Management:
- Assist manager in keeping track of packaging materials and request restocks as needed.
- Assist manager in organizing and managing inventory to ensure efficient workflow.
Shipping Coordination:
- Assist the manager, if requested, with coordination with the shipping department to ensure the timely dispatch of orders.
- Verify that packaged products match the order details and that shipping labels are correct.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Diligent and punctual. GOOD ATTENDANCE IS ESSENTIAL.
- Attention to Detail and ability to notice small defects and inconsistencies.
- Technical Skill. Have familiarity with cabinetry construction, materials, stains, and finishes.
- Skilled in handling tools and packaging materials efficiently.
- Good communication, and ability to document and report issues.
- Problem-Solving skill and ability to identify and suggest solutions for quality issues.
- Physical Stamina, to be able to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent. 18 years or older.
- Additional training or certification in quality control, woodworking, or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience in quality control, packaging, or cabinetry manufacturing is preferred.
- Work is typically performed in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- May involve exposure to dust, noise, and use of protective equipment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17-22/hour depending on qualifications and experience with the manager after an interview
Schedule: 8-hour shift; Monday to Friday starting 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
