Job Title: Quality Conrol Specialist
Location: Broadview, IL
Job Type and Duration: Direct hire full time
Pay rate: 75-80k plus depending on experience
This role is slated to transition to a management role for the department. The ideal candidate will work directly alongside the Quality Control Manager to learn the specifics of the organization before transitioning in 2-3 years.
The ideal candidate will have responsibilities such as supervising or leading a team, or being a lead in their department. Strong tenure in Quality Control a must, with a minimum of 7 years' experience, preferably in precision machined parts.
Other duties:
•Experience conducting various inspection reports
• Experience in various phases of inspection; incoming, in process and final inspections of precision parts
• Utilize Calipers and Micrometers, Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), and Quality Control Software to perform quality inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure products meet specifications
• Conduct quality control data analysis and root cause analysis to identify and address issues
• Experience with GD&T and PPAP process
• Utilize Hexagon, Mitutoyo, and PC-DMIS machines for quality inspections
*Experience with PC-DMIS required
*CMM Programming required
Qualifications:
• Basic computer skills
• Experience leading a team desired
• Quality inspection experience
• Root cause analysis experience
• Knowledge of Quality Control Software
Experience required:
• GD&T
• Blueprint Reading
• Quality Inspection Experience
• Quality Control Data Analysis
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
• PPAP Process Experience
• Root Cause Analysis
• Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (Mitutoyo, Hexagon)
• Quality Control Software (PC-DMIS) a must
