Quality Control Technician - Day Shift at Vobev

SUMMARY

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team at Vobev, a leading beverage manufacturing company. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring our products meet the highest quality and safety standards. You will conduct routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products using various testing devices and procedures, ensuring they adhere to our internal specifications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conducts tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance; examines products or work to verify conformance to specifications
• Routinely use measuring tools (such as caliper gauges and micrometers).
• Advise production when inspection results do not meet customer specifications.
• Generates forms as required to correct or prevent nonconformance; investigates as needed.
• Records test data and apply it to statistical quality control procedures.
• Prepares graphs or charts of data or enters data into a database for analysis.
• Recommends revisions and updates for standard operating procedures and work instructions as needed.
• Performs periodic product or process audits per standard procedures.
• Reduces scrap and defects.
• Build positive relationships across designated teams by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
• Works individually and as a team to develop and implement quality and efficiency improvements.
• Maintain clean work area including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.

Shift: The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills and must be flexible enough to work a rotating 2-2-3 shift and overtime as needed. Day shifts are from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Skills/ Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent with
• 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar industry.
• Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with depth gauges, dial calipers, and/or automated gauges.
• Has a thorough understanding of the total process flow.
• Strong attention to detail and experience reviewing and understanding graphs and trends.
• Must be able to match colors.
• Provide clear and concise communication (verbal and written) respectfully to all levels of personnel.
• Work effectively in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal software programs), with advanced presentation skills and the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail and experience reviewing and understanding graphs and trends.
