QC (Quality Control) Technician
Location: Greenwood, South Carolina, United States (On-site)

Job scope:
QC Technician is responsible for performing incoming quality checks (IQC) on the materials through inspections and tests to ensure these materials conform to the specification and requirements before usage in production.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine incoming quality checks on materials upon good receiving.
- Prepare material samples from warehouse and line to monitor the material quality.
- Carry out inspection and tests on the materials.
- Verify COA/ COC received from suppliers.
- Ensure received materials are in conformance with incoming QC procedure, material specifications and requirements.
- Execute material identification with Accept, On-hold, Reject labels after IQC.
- Prepare rejected materials to return to vendors.
- Record measurement data and plot SPC charts
- Trigger non-conforming (NC) materials to QC engineer; and execute out-of-control reaction plan and segregate these NC materials for quarantine.
- Operate metrology instrument and test machine; perform set-up and routine checks with calibration standards.
- Maintains good housekeeping, safety and discipline in work areas
- Ensure proper handover and communication from shift to shift if required
- Support QA engineer in engineering tasks e.g. step up inspection and material tests etc.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance or equivalent degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related field.
Competencies:
- Able to use of Microsoft Office Excel, Words, and PowerPoint
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess the ability to handle difficult situations and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Working standard hours (Monday-Friday) 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
