Quality Control Technician - Gethired

TST Fab & Machine is looking for a Quality Control Technician responsible for ensuring all customer products are to specific specifications and standards set forth by the customer.

Job Responsibilities

·          Demonstrate our Core Values of Safety, Accountability, Good to Great and All In

·          Read, interpret and understand company/customers drawing packages

·          Request missing information from estimators

·          Accurately navigate E2 to scan QC checks and to find needed information

·          Conduct in process checks throughout the facility

·          Measure parts to ensure compliance using PMI

·          Interact with Operations for input and knowledge

·          Provide a “Quality First” approach when interacting with TST Fab & machine employees

Requirements & Qualifications

·          High school diploma or equivalent

·          Minimum 1-3 years of Quality Control experience preferred

·          Able to use and understand industry metrology such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, height gauges, imperial and metric

·          Strong attention to detail, self-starter

·          Highly organized and multi-task

·          Ability to visual differentiate details

·          Basic understanding of Microsoft Office

·          Must be highly efficient with completing tasks

·          Must be capable of prioritizing time and direction

·          Fabrication and / or machining experience highly desired

·          ISO 9001-2015 desired

·          Must be able to work independently and within a team structure

Physical Requirements

Standing: Approximately 90% of the time.

Lifting: Required, with a maximum weight of up to 50 lbs.

Walking: Regularly required but typically does not exceed 15 minutes at a time.

Climbing: No ladder use is involved in this position.

Bending and Squatting: Very often required as part of the role.

Stairs: Some use of stairs within the facility may be necessary beyond entering or exiting the building.

Vibratory Tools: There is no use of vibratory tools such as hammers or drills in this role.

Balance on Stable Surfaces: Required, as tasks may involve standing on stable surfaces for extended periods.
