Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist. This is a Temp or temp to hire position. This will be a full-time position.
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 an hour Depending on Experience
Position: Quality Technician and Machine Shop Support
We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform Quality Technician and Machine Shop Support duties. This position will play a key role in various quality and manufacturing support efforts, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing teams.

Position: Quality Technician and Machine Shop Support
We are seeking a dedicated individual to perform Quality Technician and Machine Shop Support duties. This position will play a key role in various quality and manufacturing support efforts, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and sourcing teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inspect precision machined products using a variety of precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, profilometers, portable CMM, and laser tracker CMM. Inspections will be conducted both in-process and upon completion.
- Purchase and maintain production tooling and shop supplies.
- Expedite raw material and subcontract purchase orders, directly communicating with vendors.
- Conduct hydro-pressure testing.
- Develop and maintain quality reports based on inspection and test data.
- Communicate quality findings and concerns to the Quality Director and/or management.
- Perform receipt inspections of raw materials and subcontracted processes, including physical inspections and document/specification reviews.
- Ensure that measuring and test equipment is calibrated according to WPT quality programs and that it is stored and functioning correctly.
- Maintain quality records and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience in a machine shop environment.
- Proficiency with manual measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and calipers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, including fractions, ratios, and angles.
- High level of visual awareness and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and self-motivational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus on tasks.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
