About the Job
KPC Promise Hospital of BATON ROUGE: The Quality Coordinator performs quality management review functions such as review/audits of patient records, preparing reports, assisting with regulatory preparation and assisting the Department Director with administrative functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- LPN/LVN, Tech, or other related healthcare experience.
- Three years clinical experience in an acute care setting
- Two year’s experience with TJC/regulatory and quality management related activities and
functions
- Computer literate, proficient in Excel and Access programs with ability to prepare reports and
Graphs
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical: Walking – up to 20% Standing – up to 10% Kneeling - up to 5%
Sitting – up to 40% Pushing – up to 5% Bending – up to 5%
Squatting – up to 5% Pulling – up to 5% Reaching – up to 5%
Lifting – up to 50 lbs. Wrist/Finger Movements - up to 90%
Mental: Stress Level: Moderate to high
EXPOSURE RISK: Category III - Jobs in which required tasks involve no greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
