Quality Engineer
Our client is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join their quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The Quality Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Conduct inspections and audits of products, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and develop preventive measures to avoid recurrence of issues.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, control plans, and process flow diagrams.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Total Quality Management (TQM).
- Train and mentor team members on quality assurance best practices and standards.
- Stay current with industry standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality improvement tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, CAPA).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certification in quality engineering (e.g., CQE, CQA) is a plus.
