Role Overview:
As the Quality Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of upholding and enhancing quality standards throughout the organization. You'll collaborate across departments, driving improvements in product development, manufacturing processes, and overall product quality. Your expertise will help ensure regulatory compliance and support continuous improvement efforts to boost overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with teams to support new product development and refine manufacturing processes.

Lead or support quality initiatives to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Analyze current processes using statistical methods (SPC) to identify and implement improvements.

Investigate and resolve product issues, developing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Develop and improve quality procedures, ensuring compliance with ISO and FDA standards.

Conduct internal and vendor audits, identifying areas for quality improvement.

Provide training and mentorship to staff on quality processes and best practices.

Track performance metrics and initiate corrective actions when negative trends emerge.
Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Minimum of three years of experience in quality or process engineering, ideally in a regulated industry such as medical devices.

Strong knowledge of mechanical testing, material properties, and metrology.

Familiarity with ISO standards, FDA regulations, and quality tools like FMEA, SPC, Lean, and Six Sigma.
- Excellent communication skills for developing reports and presenting findings.

Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks

Proven ability to lead projects and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
