This direct-hire role combines the technical expertise of metrology with the procedural rigor of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) to support the manufacturing process and ensure consistent product quality. 100% on-site

- Metrology:
- Perform precise measurements using various tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), and other specialized instruments.
- Develop and implement measurement systems to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze measurement data to identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve measurement-related issues.
- PPAP (Production Part Approval Process):
- Lead the PPAP process for new and existing products, ensuring all documentation and samples are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Prepare and maintain PPAP documentation, including FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and MSA (Measurement System Analysis).
- Work closely with the quality team to address any discrepancies or non-conformances identified during the PPAP process.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Document and report inspection results, identifying any deviations from specifications.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities to resolve quality issues.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement projects.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification in Quality Control, Metrology
- Experience:
- PPAP documentation and submission process of the packages
- Project management.
- Document Control
- APQP/FMEA
- SPC
- Internal Audits

- Report writing
- Skills:
- Proficient in the use of metrology instruments and equipment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and standards (ISO/TS 13485, 14001, 9001).
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills while working in a collaborative setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and quality management software.
- Knowledge of CAD/Unigraphics and PCDMIS.
- Ability to lift and move measurement equipment and product samples up to 25 pounds.
