Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing ensuring consistent application of quality techniques.
- Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerancing, and materials related issues.
- Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution options, implementing action plans, and providing resources.
- Effectively communicate and reinforce DG's commitment to quality improvement efforts * Review and analyze process inspection results. Recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.
- Coordinate and lead MRB functions in addition to, inter audits.
- Participate and lead the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Develop and maintain sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods
- Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action.
- Perform duties in accordance with DG quality Management system requirements and AS9100
- Assigned other tasks by management
- Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Analytical Skills and ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
- Knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures, including AS9100 and ISO-9001 Quality Management Systems
- Proven leadership abilities, and strong written & verbal communication
