Future Aviation, Inc., a HEICO Corporation (NYSE: HEI) Repair Group facility, located in Southwest Florida, is the largest independent regional airline component MRO facility in the industry. We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team.
The Quality Engineer (supply chain) is responsible for product quality planning, evaluation and control. This role works cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that regulatory as well as Quality Management System (QMS) compliance is maintained.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
* Develop/review quality inspection and test plans for new product development as well as legacy production parts.
* Contribute to manufacturing/quality expertise to design reviews for new product development, supplier changes, product changes and/or improvements for legacy production parts.
* Perform reviews of first article inspections as well as provide documentation for new product development, dormancy and supplier changes of legacy production parts.
* Coordinate the review and resolution of non-conformances, liaising with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers to develop, implement & monitor corrective/preventative action plans.
* Work collaboratively within and across cross-functional teams with minimal supervision
* Responsible for Supplier Recurrent Approvals, Source Inspections and Audits.
* Participate in internal audits of the QMS.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelors’ degree in engineering
* Trained in the skillsand techniques related to a specific branch of engineering, with a practical understanding of the relevant engineering concepts
* Experience in drafting and the use of drafting software
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The team member will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Occasionally required to work in inclement weather.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Overtime work may be required as job duties demand.
